Description
**Please note, this position is based out of the Austin/Central
Texas area**
- Represent Steves & Sons in an upstanding professional
manner.
- Responsible for stock product POG accuracy, store
layouts/surveys, set integrity, quality and maintenance of doors in
Home Depot stores.
- Maintain, repair, and install store displays, signage, and
literature.
- Support and train Store Associates to grow special order and
Pro Business. This may include blueprint takeoff assistance,
jobsite visits, and pro-sales focused events.
- Provide excellent customer service - resolve customer, store
associate, and management concerns/issues. This may include
customer visits and warranty claims.
- Provide oversight and feedback of the work of the Merchandising
Execution Team (MET), develop relationships, train the MET
associates, and request needed MET special projects.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with Store management and
District level management through regular walks, communication, and
reporting.
- Other duties as assigned. Requirements
- 2+ years of retail work, in-store merchandising service, or
outside sales experience required.
- Experience in Door Millwork sales a plus.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel,
Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate
and maintain positive relationships with all customers and leaders
at all levels.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and counsel direct
reports and build effective teams.
- Ability to travel extensively and work non-standard hours and
overnight travel.
- Job requires physical work of lifting and moving doors.
- Excellent time management skills.
