Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Within a team-based
environment, will facilitate the collection, management, and
synthesis of data in support of departmental projects. Will ensure
the timely monitoring and evaluation of key performance metrics
(operational, clinical and administrative) that strengthen
programmatic outreach and sustainability of projects. Responsible
for identifying and monitoring ongoing quality improvement issues
and opportunities. Assists in the development of metrics, data
collection tools and presentations of resultant data through
products and formats that include oral, visual and written.
Responsibilities include quantitative data analysis, utilization of
databases for the identification of appropriate study populations;
data management, analysis planning and statistical analysis of data
collected from clinical and administrative data sources.
Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in the use of UH materials and
property. May serve as facilitator/leader of process improvement
efforts. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE BS/BA degree required. MS/MA/MPH
degree preferred. Minimum of two years' experience in working with
healthcare data and information is required. Experience in
qualitative research, statistical data analysis and preparation of
QI or related reports is preferred.
