Job Description:

Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in pediatric and adult home healthcare, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team. This position entails providing daily nursing care and services in accordance with each patients plan of care, which will be coordinated by a Registered Nurse or doctor. Our passionate LVNs help to maintain a comfortable, safe, and clean environment for our patients at all times, fostering optimal recovery and independence in the patient's home setting. Provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse with the focus on individualized patient care. Follow a detailed plan of care created by a supervisor and assist in updating the patient’s medical records. Administer medications and provide treatments according to healthcare provider’s orders. Monitor patient’s condition and report vital information to the appropriate supervisor. Educate patients and families on the management of their illness or injury. Complete all necessary documentation before the end of the shift. Familiarity with basic nursing and monitoring equipment Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and families Ability to operate independently and collaboratively with a healthcare team Strong attention to detail with multitasking abilities Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) CPR certified or ability to become certified
