Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in home health services, is seeking
compassionate and diligent Registered Nurses (RN) to provide
high-quality and personalized care within the homes of our patients
during evening and night shifts. This role requires versatile
nursing skills, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to
providing exceptional service across our pediatric and adult
patient populations. As part of our dedicated team, you will work
closely with patients and families to administer medications,
manage pain, and monitor vital signs, among other responsibilities,
ensuring every patient achieves their fullest potential in their
recovery and rehabilitation. Administer medications according to
prescribed schedules. Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms to
assess and document physical condition. Implement patient care
plans and contribute to the development of new care strategies.
Educate patients and their families on treatment schedules,
conditions, and medication management. Maintain accurate, detailed
reports and medical records. Attend to patient needs with
compassion and attention to ethical medical practices. Coordinate
with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and
recovery. Strong clinical skills in patient care and monitoring.
Ability to operate medical equipment. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Proficiency in time management and
multitasking. Critical thinking skills, especially in emergency
situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance Current RN license valid in the state of employment.
CPR and BLS certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
certification encouraged.
