Job Description:
As a Hospice Registered Nurse at HCA Healthcare, you will play a
vital role in providing compassionate, end-of-life care to patients
in hospice settings. This position involves working intimately with
patients and their families to manage pain and other symptoms and
provide emotional support during critical times. Our network of
nearly 2,000 care sites enables us to affect substantial, positive
change in the communities we serve, making this role both impactful
and fulfilling. Provide direct patient care to hospice patients,
assessing their condition and responding to health issues. Develop
and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs in
collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patient
response. Educate and support patients and their families on
end-of-life care and symptom management. Coordinate with healthcare
providers, hospice staff, and families to ensure comprehensive
care. Strong empathetic and communication skills Ability to work
effectively within an interdisciplinary team Proficient in pain and
symptom management techniques In-depth knowledge of hospice care
regulations and standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license CPR certification
Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred
