Location: Austin, TX 78701 Duration: 3 months Job Description
Responsibilities Include: Consult on application analysis,
troubleshoot system problems, and recommend solutions. Provide
business analysis and quality assurance for licensing systems,
particularly within Texas state licensing agencies. Demonstrate
deep understanding of the license life cycle, including new license
application and management processes. Create detailed user stories,
define acceptance criteria, and perform manual testing to ensure
functionality and compliance. Interact with end users to gather
requirements, validate solutions, and ensure a seamless user
experience. Provide quality assurance consultation to projects,
assignments, or special initiatives. Develop and review test cases,
process change requests, and manage project scope, acceptance,
installation, and deployment. Maintain business relationships with
vendors, seek best value for new and renewing technologies, and
review/approve monthly and annual invoices. Follow all
organizational policies and procedures. Perform other duties as
assigned. Candidate Skills and Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
8 years of experience with Agile methodologies, including user
story creation, working as part of an Agile team, participating in
Agile ceremonies, and leading Refinement and Sprint planning
sessions. 8 years of experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or
similar tools. 8 years of experience performing highly complex
(senior-level) business analysis work. Ability to work under
limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and
independent judgment. 8 years of experience coordinating the
analysis of program policies and procedures to determine their
effect on automated systems and functional areas. 8 years of
experience coordinating with outside vendors and contractors to
complete projects and service requests, including defining,
assigning, and evaluating their work. 8 years of experience
identifying opportunities to improve business processes through
automation and preparing proposals to develop new systems. 8 years
of experience consulting on application analysis, troubleshooting
system problems, and implementing solutions. 8 years of experience
providing complex quality assurance consultation or oversight of
projects, assignments, or special initiatives. 8 years of
experience reviewing complex project deliverables such as charters,
design documentation, test plans, and risk assessment plans, and
providing feedback to document owners. 8 years of experience
developing training curricula and conducting formal training
sessions covering assigned system modules. 8 years of experience
designing and/or reviewing test cases and processing change
requests. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working
with state-level systems.
