Job Description:
Job Description As a Geek Squad Agent, you’ll be the first point
of contact for people seeking technology support, knowledge and
solutions for computers and other devices at our local Best Buy
store. We’ll provide the training and resources you need to assess
customers’ needs, perform basic services and partner with other
agents as needed on more complex repairs. If family and friends go
to you with their tech questions, this might be the perfect role
for you. What you’ll do - Provide positive, timely service to
customers during the check-in and checkout process - Understand
technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up
questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time
estimates for next steps - Help customers set up new devices and
provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices -
Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to
customers - Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified
training courses - Clearly communicate and partner with fellow
agents Basic qualifications - 3 months of experience working in
retail or customer service - Ability to work a flexible schedule,
including holidays, nights and weekends Preferred qualifications -
Passion for technology and desire to solve problems - Ability to
